Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D’s 152 – JACK VS. YUSEI!!!!!!!1one!!!1eleven1

This isn’t the last episode. It sure looked that way, but nope!

So after saving Neo Domino City, life returned to normal. Jeager became the new mayor of NDC, Crow became highway patrol for security, and Yusei became the chief researcher for the Moooooomentum and created its new main frame called “Fortune.” Aki visits Haruka (that loli in the hospital that she saved) and is graduating from high school, and Rua blushes when seeing Ruka wear short shorts. They can’t reach Jack, but he is shown travelling around and defeating duelists like Bommer and Kiryu.

Team 5D’s decide to have a meet up on the weekend. They’re all sad because they can’t decide between staying in Neo Domino City and leaving. Aki got invited to study aboard, the twins fnally got an email from their parents asking them to go live with them, and Crow got invited to some pro duelling league overseas. They’re all wondering about what to do when Jack pops up and throws a card. Said card is thrown with so much force it cracks the concrete. He has decided to let go of Neo Domino City and going to the world’s strongest duelling league to become KING OF THE WORLD!!!!! Yusei apparently got an invitation too. Since they’re all indecisive and all, Yusei and Jack duel to figure out what to do in the future. How this works I’m not sure, because this is certainly a completely unbiased way to decide and totally doesn’t just show how fun card games are gonna be. Nope.

Jack and Yusei begin their riding duel outside, both saying how they’ve never fought since the Fortune Cup and always wanted to duel with eachother again. Yes!!!! An epic, final duel between the original duo–the writers certainly did something right. Yusei takes the first corner and gets to go first. The highway turns into a duel lane complete with the “duel is happening, get off the road” speech.

Yusei starts off by summoning the Tuner monster, Blue Expense Falcon. When Blue Expense Falcon is successfully summoned, a Dragon-type monster of level 4 or below can be special summoned from the hand. He summons Star Bright Dragon. When Sar Bright Dragon is special summoned, it can raise a monster on the field’s level by two. Blue Expense Falcon is raised to level 4, and he tunes the two together to Synchro summon Stardust Dragon. Yusei places one card face down and TURN END.

Jack’s turn! He summons Synchro Resonator, which can be special summoned when the opponent’s field has a Synchro monster. Then he summons Star Gazer, whose effect allows it level to become one less than a opponent’s Synchro monster. It chooses Stardust Dragon, raising its level to 7. He tunes the level 1 Synchro Resonator and the level 7 Star Gazer to Synchro summon Red Demon’s Dragon. Jack attacks Stardust Dragon with Red Demon’s Dragon, but Yusei activates the trap card Star Excursion. When two Synchro monsters battle, they are removed from play and special summoned to he field after the opponent’s 3rd battle phase. With this, both Jack’s and Yusei’s fields are empty.

Both their ace monsters disappeared, and Yusei says that he will find his own future through this duel. In human language, it means using old cards next episode instead of asspulling and Dragon spamming! (I hope)

Ohhhh…I haven’t had a fangirl outburst for a while, but daaaaaaaamn Jack is always so cool. Next week is a one-hour special, so I guess I’ll have to watch it right after I get home from school unlike today where I was extremely late.
