Okura Miyako End GET!

Miyako is the first girl you meet; she is your naggy childhood friend who wakes you up in the morning and does everything a childhood friend (in galge) does including giving you your allowance. She is the one who gives you information on the girls and their statuses, and is basically the information person. Although the fact that she is dateable and the fact that she is a yandere were suposed to be secret, they’re no longer hidden due to Miyako’s popularity with TM4 fans.

To get Miyako to go out with you, you have to call her 13 times asking for a date. After that, you can successfully ask her on dates except to the ocean. Just keep going out with her like twice a month and she’ll fall for the protagonist very quickly. Like, I got her to Tokimeki within the first school year. After dating her for a bit, Miyako will go into her dark state, nicknamed “Yamiko” by fans. She goes yan because you don’t remember the bunny that she had always carried around ever since she was a kid, and various other things from your childhood. Yamiko will no longer bring you allowance and won’t give you information on other girls. There are certain date spots that Yamiko will refuse to go to, so saving before calling her is recommended. During this period, if you go on a date with another girl or try to ask her out after school, you will have to fight Miyako’s bunny. This led me to a funny scene with Manabu (guy friend), where you tell him about the bunny appearing after dates, and he decides to dress up as Satsuki Yuu to lure it out. Manabu dressing and trying to act like a girl is disturbingly hilarious XD At the end he runs away, so you’ll have to fight the evil bunny solo.

Sometime after fighting and dying against Miyako’s bunny a bunch of times, she comes out of her dark state. One day, at the riverside that you two played at when you were little, Miyako lost one of the eyes of her bunny and looks for it. You offer to help, but at the end it couldn’t be found. The protagonist finds out that the bunny’s eye was actually a button he gave to Miyako from one of his shirts when he was little. That’s why Miyako wants to find it no matter what. The protagonist tells her to stop searching for it, and gives her a button from his current shirt. With this, Miyako gets out of her Yamiko state, and went into Tokimeki. At Tokimeki, she ties her ponytail high up instead of low when she was at normal, and speaks in a softer, more feminie voice. From this point on, you can take her wherever you want, and she will give you allowance again. She still refuses to give you information about other girls, though.

Ahh, what can I say? Miyako’s story left me speechless, since I now feel like a dick after dating all these other girls. You can really see that she has loved the protagonist for a long time, and wants to help him out so she decides to give him info on other girls. After seeing how important her memories with the protagonists are to her, and how you can actually feel the love from the protagonist, I can now say that they were made for each other. Even in the ending wall of text, the protagonist states that he won’t hurt Miyako a second time, and he admits that he was pretty ignorant for dating all these girls even though Miyako was beside him all this time.

Miyako’s route had the most story so far, and she is probably THE one for the protagonist. I can understand why she became so popular, even if I’m indifferent to childhood friend characters. Also, her theme music is the best out of all the characters. It sounds exactly like something that would play during a heartwarming scene in an eroge. For plus points, it started playing when you give her your button.
