1) Don’t trust Canadian Gamestop site/employee about niche games.
2) Don’t order NA games online.
I ordered Zettai Hero online because the employee said they weren’t getting it and the Canadian site had no info about it whatsoever. Today I got dragged by my mom to the mall, and found ZHP in the corner of the PSP section of EBGames for $29.99. Dammit, so my impatience cost me 10 bucks. This is partly GS’s fault too for having a crappy site. If I knew that the Canadian Gamestops were getting it, it would’ve been much less troublesome. Buying IRL with cash > pre-paid cards. From now own I’m just going to follow the American site, because what we get in stores is pretty much the same anyways.
Why am I such an idiot? For this incident, I agree with the GS bashers for crappy service. It’s not any individual GS’ fault because I’ve met some really nice employees, but they really need to stop giving false information about niche games. On the bright side, I don’t get a gutted copy and not including shipping, the price I pay would probably not make much of a difference due to sales tax.
Ahh…I don’t care anymore. I just want to play ZHP already.
I’ve been busy with school lately (yes, 2/4 of my subjects are actually somewhat fun) so I haven’t got time to update what I’m playing right now (not that I’m making much progress).
DS: Etrian Odyssey III (slowly making my way through the 3rd stratum)
PSP: None yet, but I’m expecting Zettai Hero and Tokimeki Memorial 4 this month
PS2: Mana Khemia II still
I’ll be stick with EOIII, ZHP, and TM4 for a while, so I won’t be needing to buy any more handheld games for the time being. After MKII I’m probably going to continue with La Pucelle (despite how unpolished it feels compared to Disgaea) or play Xenosaga I.
